Radiantz 1157 LED Turn Signal Cluster-Pigtail

Radiantz 1157 LED Turn Signal Cluster-Pigtail

This 1.85"" LED cluster contains 48 super bright, wide-angle, dual intensity 1157 LEDs. This easy-to-install Pigtail version can be secured in the housing with double sided tape, silicon/epoxy, or foam insulation. Perfect for replacing stock turn signals, brake lights, and additional tail lights. Read the webBikeWorld review of the Radiantz Round Cluster LED Lights. If you are planning on replacing your turn signal lights with LEDs, we also carry LED Lights specifically for Harley-Davidson ® motorcycles. Click here to see if we have a LED product specifically for your Harley ®. Dimensions 1-7/8"" Diameter Length Tip to Tip: 1-3/4"" Stem Length: 1-1/8"" Technical Specifications 0.3 Amp 14 VDC Important Notice when Replacing Stock Turn Signals with LEDs LED lights consume much less power than stock incandescent or halogen light bulbs, and most stock turn signal flashers are not compatible with LED lights. If your existing turn signal lights are incandescent or halogen light bulbs, and you are replacing them with LED lights, you may need either a Load Equalizer or a Solid State Turn Signal Flasher so that your new LED Turn Signal lights flash correctly. Important Notice for Motorcycles with a Single Turn Signal Indicator Light The Diode Kit for Metric Motorcycles is required when installing LED lights as turn signals on a motorcycle with a single turn signal indicator light. The indicator light is a little light on the ""dashboard"" which starts blinking when your turn signals blink. Some motorcycles may have two of those, one for each side. Some only have one, which blinks for either side. If this diode kit is not installed on those single-indicator motorcycles, power will back feed across the indicator light and all turn signals, left and right, will flash at once, confusing other motorists. Legal Information Modification of the Original Lighting on any Motor Vehicle, including Motorcycles, may not comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. Lights which are not DOT certified, such as most LED bulbs, brake light bulbs, turn signal bulbs, and headlight bulbs, even if designed to produce bright red, amber, or white light, may not be approved for public road use. Depending on the location in which they are installed, these bulbs or lights may be for show car of off-road use only. Please check with your Federal and local authorities before replacing your original lighting products with any aftermarket lights.

Open Question: Teachers riding motorcycles to school?

I just bought my first bike. I am a permanent substitute for an urban school district, and would never dream of leaving my bike out in that parking lot (would get stolen in a minute). However, this summer I am tutoring at a summer camp run by the college where I'm getting my masters (tutoring at the camp is part of my class requirement). Would it be inappropriate for me to ride there? Its about a half hour drive, so that's one full hour four days a week... I could save massively on gas, and get good use out of my bike. I plan on wearing on all of my gear all the time, but I'm worried that parents might not like it if their kid's teacher is some biker babe (although it will be in an area where riding is pretty popular... lots of bikes out on the road).

Open Question: What kind of mechanical job should I strive for?

I went to college for a year, and it was fun but I didn't have what it took. I just couldn't find the motivation to do the work. I am really attracted to manual labor-type jobs, despite my desire to go to school. When I went to college I was just doing what I thought I was expected to do... I was attracted to the programming culture, but discovered that I loathe coding. It is a terrible, obnoxious process of trial and error. Anyway, I've always loved the idea of working on cars, and recently motorcycles... I'm largely interested in money, though. Money is what motivates me, recently, money pays for my happiness. (You can't buy new tires for your track bike with love from your family.) So now I'm testing the waters, trying to explore what I should do... I joined the military after I dropped out of college and I have a few years left, but I'd like to start planning for my future... What jobs fields should I look into? I heard that bmw mechanics make good money, but a friend says that he would be a diesel mechanic if he wanted to make money. I like working on cars and diagnosing them etc, but I also like motorcycles and could see myself doing that... but if mechanics don't make that much, what other jobs could you go through technical training for? designing new cars? (like engines and stuff, probably not testing the aerodynamics of models.) Or would you need some kind of mechanical engineering degree for that? Appreciate the info, I would really like a job working with vehicles... (Not selling them) but I'm disenchanted with degree programs

Open Question: Renting in SoCal? First time on my own.?

I'm looking for a 2bed/1bath apartment/townhouse in so cal (corona, rialto, fontana, ontario) which means rent is between 600-900 a month. I'm getting this place with my girlfriend. Combined income per month is around 4000$. I just needa know what i should expect in expenses. Only utility that i have to pay for is electricity, how much is that per month for a small place? Currently my only expenses are cell phone ($50), motorcycle insurance ($12), and gas ($30-$40) per month. So will we be ok?
