Why are my cats like stalking me?!?!?!?
they never ever ever lay by me and usually run away from me.. but the past two days they have been constantly following me around the house and laying in bed with me. they have never done this.. ever in the past 5 years ive had them.. its crazy i tell you.lol no cat nip on my clothing and i havent been around other animals but my friend did have a baby the other day and i have been with her the past two days. maybe they smell the baby and they got jealous ? i never thought of that. thanks guys
Pus coming out of cats wound on neck?
HE is 4 weeks old and has a bite wound in his neck i can see pus coming out of it but it is white and i dont think it is infected yet PLEASE DONT TELL ME TO GO TO THE EMERGENCY VET because i am going to wait until monday to go to the vet he is acting normal and i clean it with warm water every like 5 hours and i put Antibiotic medication on it 2 times a day I have to wait to go to the vet on monday please tell me if he will make it until then
How to keep annoying stray cats off my front porch?
I detest cats and I'm allergic to them besides....how do I keep the stray cats off my front porch aside from letting the dog out or poisoning them?I'd prefer not to have to kill them so your answers are much appreciated.I have small children and I won't have feral cats hanging around the house.
There's a large lump in my cats neck?
My cat has a developed a large lump on the right side of his neck. Early today, this lump was not there. He is acting fine and we're planning on taking him to the vet ASAP, but I was wondering if someone had some insight on what it might be? Thanks

How to make homemade cat treats?
I have nothing to do, so I was wondering how to make a cat treat out of cat food, and human food that is healthy... I have purina cat food, some cat treats, and some wet cat food... How can I make a cat treat out of those? Also, please tell me what human foods I might want to add, and how should I add them. I am not being cruel spoiling my cats. They are already spoiled, and plus they have been through a lot.
Why does my cat walk around with his tail up?

Can somebody please help me with my 20 year old, diabetic cat? I'm desperate!?
Two years ago my cat was diagnosed diabetic and has had insulin twice a day ever since. Recently losing weight because her appetite isnt as good as it was but this could be due to her age as she is very old. She will not eat the food the vet says she must eat, even though the vet says she will eat it if she is hungry, she really won't, she would rather not eat at all. So I have been giving her what ever she wants just so she will eat something but it still isnt enough. She had been getting a bit wobbly around lunchtime after her morning insulin and once very nearly into a hypogylcemic episodeso I quickly gave her liquid glucose and this helped a lot. I have started to blood test at home because I am terrified of giving her insulin if her blood sugar is too low. Its only been as high as 18 which is a lot lower than when she was first diagnosed. I read somewhere that cats can rang from 5 15 as being normal so is 18 so bad to need insulin so much, I have given her insulin after food when her blood sugar was 16 and then it reduces to 3 and she gets lethargic. Could her weight loss just be due to the fact she sleeps a lot like an old person and doesnt build up an appetite to need as much food or is it the fact that her body is starving and she need the insulin. Has anybody had any experiences like this in a very old cat please?
Why does my cat love water?
my cat has only really known me as its mum and this is the first time i have ever had a cat,always dogs.but i did find it really strange that she plays out in pouring rain when no other cats in our street will.she love trying to get in the bath with me or the shower and the only time she hates baths is when she gets soap on her.i know she is a little strange but even my friends who have always had cats say the whole playing in the rain is mad for a cat
Why is my cat so unclean?
I have a lovely 2 year old cat who is causing a bit of a problem He is a house cat who uses a litter tray. However he doesn't so much use it as destroy it His cat litter goes everywhere all over the floor along with any toilet that he has done I clean his tray everyday but he still ends up kicking the litter and his poo out onto the floor Worse still he gets his poo on his feet and instead of cleaning himself like other cats I have had in the past he walks straight onto my bed or couch and gets pooy footprint everywhere So I am cleaning my sheets daily along with disinfecting and cleaning my floors several times a day I have bought him a bigger tray and tried deep litter and shallow litter in an attempt to make things better but no luck.Does anyone have any ideas on how I can break this behaviour??Thanks for your helpOne very grossed out pet owner x x xHi Alex its a good idea but unfortunately because we live in the middle east he is not allowed to go outside because of the feral cats and the diseases he could get from them this is from our vet.Cats are also considered vermin in this country so no one would think twice about hurting him or running him over
How do i train a cat to get along with dogs?
i have a lot of friends with dogs that get along perfecly with cats, but my cat attacks them and any other dog it comes across. everything i can find off either yahoo or google is about how to get a dog to get along with cats, and thats not what i need. help?
