Can cat fleas infest human hair?
My cats have been treated twice with Advantage topical treatment and pills spray,and still have fleas. Currently trying to figure out my next option but I have a fear that with all these fleas hopping around that they are going to crawl into my hair and lay eggs and Im going to have to shave all of my hair off. Is that possible?wOw all of these answers are so awesome so far. Trust, they ALL are going to help not only with putting my fears about my hair to rest but about gettin rid of these friggin pests thanksssssss

So this lady is staying with us and she brought her 2 cats. One, named stormy, I suspect has fleas because she is ALWAYS itching and I cant find a rash or anything. I always order my medicine from petmeds. But I thought I would try the brand Hertz from the grocery store. My cats seem to be very irritated and I also noticed it will stain the bedding if they lay on it. Im worried about the brand. Do you know anything on it?

Cat, flea medication question?
My cat has really bad fleas, a few days ago I use Sergeant's Silver Squeeze On flea and tick medication and it doesn't seem to be working at all. Today I bought a flea collar and put that on, now I'm wondering if I can use Hartz ultraguard flea and tick powder for cats on him too? It sounds like way too much medication for a cat that weighs about 6 pounds. Plus I've been reading horror stories about Hartz products. But the fleas are bad does anyone have any experience with using multiple medications at once, or have any advice about how best to get rid of the fleas for good?Thanks
I've done Everything! what can the Vet do for my cats fleas?
I can't do it anymore, i've done everything known to man to get rid of his fleas, i feel so horrible for him and i don't know what to anymore besides take him to the vet and have him treated. But do they do that? And is it effective? I don't care the price, it is defiantly not an issue when it comes to helping him, so please if they can help let me know.And i have done everything, Bombed the House sprayed, Washed the sheets almost everyday i dont have anyother pets, Ihave done frontline and bathed him and i don't want to treat him too much but i have treated him twice and bathed him 3 times and he doesn't go outside and i have these things in my yard that keep them away so i don't know what to do, these the " everything" i've done and i have done eveything i possibley can, and my last resort is the vet i just want to help him
Would fumes from a burning cat flea collar be dangerous?
Ok so my cat started on fire and .....Lol, sorry, just kidding, this IS a real serious question. As follows Its cold today, so I fired up the kero heater, and totally forgot that I had set my cats flea collar on top of it last night Watching tv on the couch and noticed it was smoky in my living room. Got up to check and said oh $HlT and saw the puddle of purple and white melted plastic on top of the heater, took the top off with pliers and threw it outside. The smoke is not that bad, doesn't smell that bad, doesn't burn my eyes, etc, but could these fumes be dangerous? The smoke has dissipated now mostly. Please refrain from posting stupid answers like " evacuate the house" or any other off the wall suggestions. I'm not looking for concern or anything like that, so if you're one of those " web forum worriers" don't even post. In fact, I'd be more worried about the cat breating that stuff than myself....but the cat is low to the floor where smoke isn't, so I think he'll be fine. What do you all think? Your stupid off the wall suggestion was exactly what I did NOT want, duh....who the hell would waste the firemens time for some smoke?
