Revolution Flea protection caused cat hair loss?
I used Revolution's topical flea prevention stuff on my cat the other day. Today I noticed that he has a patch of fur missing on his neck near the place where I applied it. Has anyone else had this experience?no other side effects...he may be allergic ???

There is a season for cat hair loss ?
My kitty 5yr is loosing some hair, not in patches..just when you pet her you get some hair in your hand. That's not usual in her. Didn't change her food lately, she is eating and drinking normal. She seems a little tired.. No chemicals in the house, nothing new except a 5 mo kitten we adopted. But her behavior changed in the last week... we live in FL...there is a season for hair loss as the humans in fall ? HELP ThanksShe looks just tired, I have been looking real hard to see something different on her...I brushed her 2 days ago and It didn't shed as much as today.The kitten has been in the house for 4 mo now..all cat's have the vaccines up to date.She has been checked in sept 06. The vet reccomended a diet plan from Royal canin Calorie control, which she and my other adult female has been under for the last 4 mo.I changed back to purina now, since they lost a couple of pounds. They weight 13 pounds both, they're in their healthiest weight now...Maybe I just may wait a week or so...Vet always suggest all kind of checkups and blood analisys even if the cat is strong and healthy...that's why I don t trust them 100%. I feel that they don't truly serve a medical purpose ..but a corporative bussiness..sometimesThanks to all for your time

Is cat hair loss normal?
I know its summer and hot and my cat should be shedding but in the past few days shes lost a ton of hair on and around her ears. it has been the hottest days of summer but i dont know if its normal.

Hello In February I switched my cat from Innova hard kibble to wet food per request of the vet . Keeni had a problem with constipation so we switched her food and got her a fountain. She LOVES the water fountain......the canned food, not so much. After going through the shelves at the pet food store, she's incredibly picky and wouldn't eat the Innova wet food , I finally found one that she seemed to like. She's now on Wellness, but doesn't seem all that committed to it. LOL My problem is that she eats very sporadically and I'm worried about her nutrition. Some day's she'll eat a whole can 5.5oz and other days it's about half. I haven't noticed any pattern as to when she cleans her dish or not. She's acting normally, and still has lots of energy to play, but she's lost hair on the back of both legs and the bare spot on her belly is getting larger. Do you think it could be a food allergy or lack of nutrients? She'll be 14 yrs in October and hasn't had any health issues at all, so this is stumping me Also, I was thinking of trying the Nuvet supplements you've suggested to other pet owners. Do you think adding that would clear up the issue of hair loss nutritional worries?

my cat facial hair is getting lesser near its mouth and nose and it have like dried blood on it but when i brush it it goes away but the second day it gets worst what in the world is that?just the skin and vets are to far where i live like 60 km away

My cat's 15 human years and he almost doesn't have any hair left in his legs especially on the left and belly. We noticed it a couple of days ago and we thought it could just be because he's pretty old like it happens on people but it got worse really fast and I'm afraid it will get even worse or 'spread'.What's this after all ? I have a grey shorthair with feline AIDS and he has bald spots on the back of his neck. I am also finding fur patches on the floor from where they fell out or from where he scratched them out. He does have dry skin and he could be scratching his neck pretty hard. Cat Hair loss, HELP!!!?
My female cat, 2 years old, has recently developed something that looks like the photo seen at < cat health guide.org image files catmiliaryderma2.jpg > It is in the center of her back just above her " shoulder blades." I noticed it when hair loss was about 1 4" circle about a week ago. I put some medicine on it, thinking it might be a minor injury. The hair loss is now larger. It itches her at times. I have noticed no other unusual condition behavior. Appetite is normal. How should I treat this? Do i have to give her more regular bath, i use a medicated shampoo called ANIMED. Plz help...

ok so my cats have a good diet and we brush them every day and just started giving them bathes every once a week but thy still shed fur need help please im going to the vet tomorrow should i tell him ?i told him the last time and he told me to change the diet and i did but it was not needed but i did and NOTHING the hair loss is making us made please help ....

Cat Hair Loss Question?
So we have been feeding a stray cat for the past couple months. A couple weeks ago we noticed that he had a huge clump of hair hanging from his chest and then a few days later it was gone. It's pretty much his whole chest and it looks like someone shaved it. I did some research but found that most diseases called for an irritated infection site or small patches of hair falling out, but this is only one giant spot and it's not irritated or itchy, Anyone have any ideas?I know that someone didn't shave it, I was just using that to describe what it looked like. And he isn't our cat, he's semi feral and we don't have any more room for cats so I'm not really in the position to take him to the vet.
