Is my cat not eating because she misses me?
My cat is used to seeing me all the time but she hasnt been eating or is eating very very little because i've been gone the past few nights having sleepovers. my mom is home and everything when i'm gone but its weird. will she start eating..is she going to starve herself? im worried

Why is my cat not eating? she is 5-6 years old. she eats less than 20 grams a day, but is still drinking?
she has recently lost her appetite and it is worrying me. she has lost around 400 grams and hardly eats her bisuits. i have tried tinned food, sometimes she eats it but more often than not she doesnt. it is summer here and that may also be a factor. she has had blood tests, and her teeth and kidneys are fine to my knowledge. thanks for any help.

Pregnant cat not eating, peeing or pooping? HELP PLEASE!?
So I have a pregnant cat, i just " adopted" her yesterday afternoon from a woman that could not take care of her. I know NOTHING about cat pregnancy and i really would prefer not to hear any negative comments i only took on this responsibility because the lady would no longer take care of her. So my problems are as follows I brought her home and of course as any cat in new surrounding with new people she ran and hid. But when she didn't come out after several hours i started to worry so i found her and proceeded to show her where her food liter box and potential birthing box i set up for her were and she ran and hid again. I left her at home all day today with no one home hoping that she would come out and explore her new surroundings but i came home o find that she hadn't moved nor had she used the bathroom or eaten and hasn't done any of that since i picked her up yesterday after noon. I'm really starting to worry and i just plain need help.

Why is my cat not eating HELP!?
she just went for sterilization yesterday, when i got her back the vet told me to feed her at 10pm, which i did and she ate. but she puked out. so i tried to feed her again with smaller amount of food at 12am, she didn't puke it out. i also noticed that she doesn't want to drink water too at all. so i dismissed it and just went to sleep.so this morning i woke up, i went to get her usual morning kibbles so she could eat.she sniffed it, then looked away. i tried to put a kibble near her nose to make her smell it, she did, but ignored it. i even thought the kibble was spoilt or something but my other cat seem to gobbled it up as usual.so i tried wet food, her favorite brand, her favorite flavor next. she still refuses to eat i dab a little on her nose, she did licked it off, then sniffed the food like she was going to eat it then IGNORED IT AGAIN LIKE BEFORE so what is the cause of her not eating this morning? is it the meds? or the meds wearing off so she can feel the pain now in result loss of appetite? help me please i am so worried about my little fluffy baby '

Why is my 10 yr. old cat not eating his dinner?
9 mo. ago he was put on CD cat food for his bladder. it was blocked in October and he had to get surgery which went well He's been eating his dry food for breakfast, but just recently stopped eating his wet food for dinner. I give him 1 2 a can a day and put the other half in the fridge for the next day. He doesn't seem to mind the room temperature food as mind as the cold food. I can get him to eat the warmer food better than the cold food which he refuses to eat. He shows interest in the other cat's normal food. He isn't showing signs of a blocked bladder. Help

Three year old female cat not eating well?
I have three three year old cats two females and a tom. The tom and one of the females are mean to the other female ever since she had kittens a while back. Recently, she isn't eating well. She will not eat around her siblings, even if they are not bothering her. We separated her from the other two and gave her some food, and now she is acting fine. How can I get her to eat regularly? Should I take her away from her siblings? Any suggestions?

Lethargic cat, not eating or drinking?
I have a 4 year old orange tabby cat, and for about 48 hours now, all he's been doing is sleeping. We haven't seen him eat or drink, and we can play with him, but he'll just turn over and go back to sleep. We're able to pick him up and he doesn't seem to be in any pain, he doesn't meow when we touch him anywhere at all, but he has black spots all on his mouth, does that have anything to do with it? I don't have the money for a vet bill right now, so I'm hoping it'll pass..I have a year old schnauzer too who likes to pick on him, but he'll always fight back if she's being too much, and the most thats happened to him recentely i kicked him out of my bedroom and put his bed in the Bathroom...

New cats not eating very much,is it normal after move?

Cat not eating normally?
We have a 2 year old female cat with FIV. She is usually very active and regularly accepts her food. Recently she's been sleeping often, and would rather stay inside during the day than be out. She's become a very finicky eater.Currently she will only eat chicken. I don't feed them dry food, as I am aware that the low moisture in dry food causes their kidney's to work harder eventually causing kidney failure. She is fed Weruva canned food, a grain free food made with human grade ingredients. She will also eat freeze dried raw food if it is chicken. I've tried raw food, but she is not interested.I don't mind always getting Weruva chicken for her, but I would like to be able to switch her protein source to another type of meat for better nutrition. What could be causing her eating habits to be off, and could her recent abnormal behavior have anything to do with it?

Cats not eating anything but Fancy Feast?Both of my cats were staying at my cousin's house when I went on vacation. When I came back I learned she was feeding them Fancy Feast with the money I gave her because it was " cheaper." I usually fed my cats Wellness. Now they won't touch anything but FF. I tried gradually mixing wellness and FF but still, they don't eat it. I even did the starve thing but they still won't eat it. So then I have to give them FF. What can I do?

5 cats not eating...?
Hi all,I have 5 cats all from the same family who have suddenly decided to stop eating all at the same time. They are house cats we have a large house and many rooms for them to explore and play in before anyone criticises me, they are all rescue cats too .We have had some really hot weather recently so we put it down to that but now it has cooled down they are still not eating. All have had their vacs and boosters are up to date.They are all still active and playful, they are all still grooming themselves and have lovely cold wet noses Do you think it is just a phase or could there be something more serious going on?Any advice would be helpful.Regards,Neil.Thanks for all the answers so far...I cannot think of an environmental change recently. I have not changed their food either and I don't think they have colds as they have not sneezed I have tried tinned tuna and mackerel but no luck. When I prepare the food they all hover round not literally lol but when the food bowls are put down it's one smell and off they walk. Well I will keep you all posted as time passes...OK, some more info for today. After reading several forums on heat stroke and appetite loss I have come to the conclusion that they do not have heat stroke as they are not showing any symptoms of it. However I have rubbed some honey on their gums to combat low blood sugar through lack of food and ther has been a little improvement. Obviously we are not 100% there yet, but they have all eaten a little food now.What is strange is that they are all just as happy and playful, they still use the litter try and there are no outward signs of illness.I am putting it down to environment but have no idea what it could be Thanks everyone who as answered so far any other comments are most welcome.

Nursing Cat Not Eating or Drinking?
My mother's cat gave birth approx 4 weeks ago. Recently, we noticed that her sides seem hollowed out and she is like anorexic skinny. We figured that she hasn't been eating or drinking. Is there something that could be wrong with her? She delivered all the placentas so I don't think it's related to her giving birth but I am very concerned and would like to know what you think. We don't have much money for the vet but we will take her in if we need to, Thanks.My mother has 3 cats and 9 kittens so we can't tell who's been eating the food. My mother leaves plenty out for all of them. Please remember that this is my mother's cat and not mine. I don't observe the cat. My mother and I both have jobs and work alot so we can only see what the cat does while we are there. Please don't be rude to me about this.
