Cat sniffles?
I have two kittens one 5 months, one 4 months . The second one had a bit of hard stuff around her nose looked like blood but I think it is from snot when I got her from a proper home not a shelter . I took her to the vet who gave her antibiotics and it cleared up for a while. Now both of my cats are sniffing and sneezing. They are eating, drinking and pooping fine. They are active and play. They are not too cold it never gets below 14 deg C in my flat . Could they just be allergic to something or are they sick? Do they need to go on antibiotics again? I am a bit anti antibiotics . Is there anything I could do for them at home instead?Ok, called the vet and am picking up anti biotics tomorrow
What to do with my cat ... *sniffle*?
I have 2 cats, one male and one female. My hubby and I are going through a breakup and we don't have kids. I have been in Iraq for awhile, and since the male cat is with him always, I figured I'd not argue the male cat who is awesome he thinks he's a dog .The other one is not so nice. She was obviously abused before we adopted her and after 2 years, she's never been able to really come out of her protective shell. Sometimes in the mornings, but not much. She used to get along with the male cat, but they don't even like e o anymore. My issue the hubby wants the cat out. I have another month or so left before redeploying but he said he'd let her stay until then. I have to drive across the country literally coast to coast by myself with stuff and the cat. My dilemma is this I don't want to get rid of her b c I promised myself that I'd keep her forever regardless of how she felt about me. I knew that I would always take care of her and at least she'd always be safe. I'm starting to think of the road trip. I've held her about 4 times in the 3 years that I've had her twice for x town moves and once for the vet. All have been painful, scarring situations. But I feel like if I try to rehome her, I MUST tell the truth about her apparent dislike for humans. But even still, I do love her. I'm just looking for some advice I'm sitting on the fence with this one and, as you can imagine, have a million other things on my mind with a pending breakup and being in Iraq. o Grrrrrrrrr, I wish she was just NICE.
