How can i make cat toys?
I just got a cat, hes 3 years old. Very playfull, since im low on cash is there ways to make him toys?

I am after ideas for a good but cheap cat toys. I have 3 cats, and they just love to play. I have a toy that they love to play with. It's a mouse attached to a string on a stick. But the problem is I'm not always able to play with them. So if anyone has any ideas of a cheap toy that they can play with by themselves, please post here. They like toys that they have to chase or jump for, etc

Thanks for your answers. I will explain what has happenend, I dont appreciate any nasty comments though please, as you must understand this is very stressful When I came home I noticed a few vomit patches of bile stomach acid and 2 of them had little tufts of this fluff. He is not entirely himself, and if I put food infront of him he would eat which is a good sign. Never the less I took his food away from him and watched him right throughout the night he is drinking well. I have this supplement syringe that is full of vitamins and nutrients that I used for him when he was younger when he had the runs which seemed to have perked him up a little. A few hours later at 8 am this morning I gave him a little more. He played hide and seek with me this morning for a while and was keen to run after his little mouse uo and down the stairs so there is definatley an improvement. He did not vomit from at least 4 am. I am due to check on him later this afternoon.

I went to buy some catnip and there wasn't any, only catnip filled toys.So I bought a small pillow looking thing that said, " I love cats" and was supposed to be filled with catnip. It only cost $1, so I figured I'd slit it opened and get the miniscule amount of catnip out.The cat had no interest in the toy whatsoever before I cut it open.Inside the toy were bits of shredded chewing gum wrappers, foil, a shred of cheap material like the inside of a pants pocket on a pair of bluejeans, a dirty, shredded piece of a shoelace, and what might have once been a seal on a milk jug top.Although the item was too strong for a cat to rip open, I find it highly disturbing that this kind of stuff is being used to stuff 'catnip' cat toys. Even foam rubber is more acceptable.

I just threw away my cats' mystery triangle by Petsport. It became their favorite toy and they have officially DEMOLISHED it. Been trying to find more for months with no luck. If anyone can tell me where I can find them preferably online I would greatly appreciate it. I think I need to buy a dozen and keep them on hand. I adopted a cat a few months back. He's a tiger strip tabby a little over a year now about 15lbs. Anyway...I buy all these toys and he only plays with " water bottle caps" ...he loves them...so my question is what other NONE cat toys are there that you recommend. I bought him a big a$$ ball of yarn seriously the ball is HUGE about the size of a car tire ...he's afraid of it I think b c it's so large I let him bite on my hand. He's learned not to claw the sh t out of me when I pick him up now. Another thing....those damn scratch pads....how do I get him to use them before he claws up all my sh t? I bought the pads and all and cat nip spray hell I even bought the damn plant ...rubbed it on the pads and he looks at the pad and laughs. I don't want to have him de clawed. My last cat was but I took him in full grown set in his ways. I don't want this cat to go insane on me if I declaw him. plus I want him to keep his claws to attack intruders. help a bruh out

i am looking to get a cat from petco and woyuld like to know what i need for the cat as for toys. i know i will need a scratch post. and as for essentials i will need a food water bowl,litter box,a brush,cat food, treats. i don't want to buy a lot of toys and the cat not play with them..like my mom bought one of those towers and the cats used it for about a year and now it coolects dust..so what do you think...i have not owned a cat in over 15 years and in realty they where my moms..
