they are both about 1 year old and my recently adopted dog has his mouth wide open and " bites" my cat while tackling him. sometimes he does bite my cats neck below the neck can't really tell or on top of his neck like a cat does to move their kittens. are they playing? the dog was said to be cat friendly by the animal shelter.

I'm allergic to something about cats, dogs, and horses haven't been around other animals, really . I'm not sure what about them I'm allergic to.. Dander, hair, etc. I sneeze constantly, my eyes are really itchy and watery, and my nose is runny and itchy. Mostly around the cats and horses. And if I spend too much time with a dog then I start getting the symptoms.I would like a pet I could keep inside my room in a cage. I would like something I can let out of it's cage and let it roam around my room and around the house. I do have a lot of cords in my room from lamps, a tv, computer, phone chargers, etc. and I also have this little bug zapper plugged into the wall we have several of these around the house, please tell me if you think this would harm the animal I have carpet around my house, laminate, and tile. My dad is planning to take out all of the carpet everywhere bedrooms, hallway, etc and put this laminate hard wood looking material that we have in our living room. I would like something that won't relieve itself outside the cage or has a pellet scat so it will be easy clean up or can be trained to use a litter box. And something that is not too expensive to take care of. I was thinking of a small rabbit, but I'm not sure how I will react to it. And with all of the cords, I don't want it to get electrocuted if it chews one. What do you think?NOTE And also, this is very important I will be going to high school in August. So I would like to know if the rabbit or other pet you suggest would be okay in the cage while I'm at school then let out when I come home then put back in the cage when I sleep . So that is a lot of cage time. I don't want the pet to be miserable with all of that time spent cooped up in a cage.

Our cats are both male, and they use to like being held and petted by me. Lately they don't seem to like it as much, our oldest one hates being held by me but likes my husband to hold him. It seems like even dogs around here have picked up on it, they seem to want attention from me. Can they sense that I'm pregnant?

I am overjoyed and very relieved right now because I was able to find an organization in my area that gives low cost neuters, the rabies vaccine, and county licenses for $10 35. Our rescue cat had kittens a while back so we plan to get as many of them in as possible. When I was on the phone, I forgot to ask the lady I was making the appointment with what the license usually says. I volunteered last summer and I vaguely remember seeing some before when we were administering shots, but I'm not entirely sure if they are the same. Do they just say what county the pet is in and the vaccines it's received? Most importantly, Do they ever have their names on them, because we will be adopting the kittens out and the new owners may not like what we picked for their name while they've been with us.I just found out yesterday that we I've in a mandatory neuter area I have no idea how long this law has been in effect, but we may have unknowingly violated it in the past. Just out of curiousuty, who do you think I'd speak with if o wanted to get a breeding license.Sorry if this is A little hard to read. Kitten vs. Older cat and dog advice?
So my friend my friend's cat had a litter of kittens and she needs to get the rid of the last one. But I have two dogs one feisty dachshund and a senior black lab mix. Should I get a kitten so I can teach it to live with the lab in the downstairs of my house or should I adopt an older cat? Or is it just a really bad idea altogether

So far besides a cat, and a dog, ive had lots of rabbits, still have 7 rabbits, lots of ducks, and geese, and chickens, still have some of them, 2 ferrets, a parakeet, and belive it or not i raised a couple of baby raccoons when they where orphaned, but my favorite are the ferrets, they are very similer to cats and dogs, i also like the rabbits, and water fowl next to ferrets, but i think i like rabbits a little better then the waterfowl, but what pets did you have and what was your favorite
What to do if your cat and dog don't like each other?
A family is giving their dog to my family because, they can not take care of him anymore. But a stray cat that i take care of, will be staying with me in about a week. I just seen on the animal channel it is. I don't understand why? Why is it illegal fight dogs but legal to sell them as meat? Seems screwed up to me, if true. Why wasn't this abolished a long time ago? Your thoughts?
How do i introduce a cat and dog?
im getting a 6month old bearded collie cross jack russell and i have a kitten how can i introduce them?the dog has never met a pet and i have guinea pigs too he has socialised with kids to a certain extent i know that your meant to put a leach on him when the cat wanders i don think itd help though. also with having two kids i know ive got to watch him with all of them.i did however get a crate but it doesnt fit the dog not to lock in there all the time just to introduce slowly its too small so i was thinking put the cat in and let the dog sleep with a bit of her bed and his part of bed with hers?
