What is the best over-the-counter flea medicine for cats and kittens?
My cats are all different sizes the smallest is about 2lbs and the largest is about 20lbs. We tried Frontline but it only reduced the fleas for about a week. And, yes, I know how to vacuum and wash everything, and we have been flea combing them every other day. What can I get online or in the store without seeing the vet? We already have a lot of vet bills Thanks.
Is it okay to feed cats and kittens soft food, they prefer it, but is it better for them than hard food?

I hand raised my little princess since she was one week old after finding her abandoned.. she is now roughly 10 months old... She follows me around EVERYWHERE... she can be in what seems like a dead sleep and that doesn't even matter.. If I get up to get a glass of water from downstairs she goes too...and right back up gain she goes with me.. I don't work so I am home practically every day with her and she does this allllll day long....I'm not even exaggerating .. I don't remember ever seeing a kitten do that with a cat mom...what do you think? Is this a normal behavior of cat and mom?
Is there a brand of cat food that can be shared between cats and kittens?
I just got a young 3 month kitten but I already have a 1 year old cat with me. In a manner it seems futile to feed separate bits of cat and kitten food. Which is why I'm wondering if there's something I can get that they can both share without neither receiving the proper amount of nutrients.
Why do my grown cat and kitten hiss at each other ?
the older one is a 2 year old neutered spayed whatever its called and its a girl we've had her since she was 6 weeks old and now we got a new male cat not yet neutered spayed cause he's 10 weeks old we've had him for 3 days he doesn't have any shots yet but when my grown cat smells anything he touched or see's him she hisses he hisses back why do they do this will they stop ?also now the kitten will slap at her like hes trying to fight her but she doesn't fight back also she will stand from a distance and watch him if he doesn't see her she has stopped hissing at him?and now their fighting but they fight under my bed so i cant get to them either of them are hurt what can i do ? My grown cat is very very angry and tried to attack ME i have never seen her so angry
Fostering Cats and Kittens?
Has anyone done this before? Alot of the shelters around us offer it and we have 2 cats as it is but would be able to take in fosters. I feel like it would be a really rewarding experience for eveeryone..any thoughts?Both shelters supply food, veterinary care, and cat litter for the animals, fosters only need to provide the care and socializing

Does anyone have alternatives to Innova Cat and Kitten? I'm thinking Orijen, but...?
I was feeding my mom's cat Innova since he was a kitten. He's now 13.. gained a bit of weight after our family dog died... but healthy. I have since moved and adopted two new kittens male and female who I immediately placed on Innova. Unfortunately, they're being bought out by P& G ... who have bought out other pet food brands and ruined the ingredients.... Thus, I'm on the lookout for alternatives. I was feeding them Innova Cat & Kitten along with Innova Cat & Kitten wet food and Innova Cat & Kitten EVO wet food. I would alternate cans every 2 3 days. They seem to love their diet currently.. however, I'm running out of food so it's time to start mixing and make the change.I have fallen in love with Orijen's Cat and Kitten foods. They have a chicken flavor and a fish flavor for cats. I have small bags of both. I was hoping the cats would help me make a fast decision... but it seems they both favor opposite flavors. No big deal.... I filled one dish with chicken and one dish with fish... got a separate water bowl.. problem solved.Now I need a wet food. Orijen makes none. Any suggestions? Please include information about the foods you are recommending as well .
How can I get my cat and kitten to get along?
I adopted a 2 year old cat and a 5 month old kitten from the shelter a week ago. The kitten wants to be friends with the cat and play with her but she is annoyed by him. He's not very good at giving her space and tries to play with her tail. How do I get them to get along better?I did keep them apart for a few days but after day 5 there was no hissing, just tolerance, so I figured it would be fine.

ok... i have a REALLY OLD cat and jus recently got a kiten obviously knowing they wernt goin to get along but i didnt think it would be this hard. i been trying to keep them seprate but its not real easy... i kno k ci the old one doesnt have much longer altho he is in good health.... which is y i got lulu the kitten when i lost my cat back in 2006 after 16 yrs k ci was the only thing that gave me comfort knowing they were so close.... n e way done wit my sob story... n e 1 have tips on how to make the transition easier? ps its really hard gettin use to another animal in the house ever like 4 yrs l8r but it will b easier for me when k ci does decide to go if i have another animal to hang on to
How Do I Get My Cats And Kittens To Get Along?
I had a an inside outdoors cat several months ago when we lived in a different apartment. He was very good friends with one of the cats next door. I knew we were moving so I wanted to get him a friend so he would not miss the cat next door. I got him a friend but they did not really get along but we still tried..........o.k. so we move and bring our new cat with us..........he ran outside and ran away for two months.......we thought he was gone for good so we got two kittens.........then one day he shows up again......So, this is what we have.........a male cat that comes back a few times a week to say hello and eat and mostly hangs out with his cat friends in our new neighborhood........a male cat both neutered who is shy and stays outside, kind of afraid to come in the house and 2 kittens that get along great together but irritate the older cats to death.......just being...kittens.......How do we get everyone to be atleast tolerable of each other when they are all in the house together..which I would eventually like to accomplish.....I love all the cats kittens dearly......and do not want to give anyone up......they are all special and lovable.........and loved to pieces..........thanks........p.s. the adult cats do not really get along either.......but they are all the sweetest things in the world individually and to their people.I feel so bad because one of my adult cats won't come in at all and one comes in only for a min or two because the kittens harrase them so much.......and they really don't like the harrasement............of kittens trying to jump all over them and play with them.
