Urgh Urgh spew spew spew I just found fly eggs on my cats cat food, what if he was eaten some?
It's actually unusualy for him not to have eaten it straight away when I put it out. Eurgh he is getting dry food from now on when I'm not there to chuck away any left overs lol xI only put it out this morning for him, then I got home from work about an hour ago and I chucked away what he hadn't eaten and there were fly eggs on it. What if he has eaten some throughout the day that has had some on? Would he have just left stuff with it on? Barf barf barfI thought they only went on food that was rotting too, it was straight out of the pouch this morning. Urgh I feel dirty .....and i'm not lol

...lions, etc... helpI'm looking for the children's book I remember from childhood about mice chasing cats, cat chasing dogs, dog chasing lions, etc... It's about a village overrun with mice so they bring in cats to chase the mice. Then, they are overrun with cats, so they bring in dogs to chase the cats. So, being overrun with dogs, they bring in lions to chase the dogs.... elephants to chase the lions and then finally mice back to chase the elephants.That's all I can remember anyone around my age 40ish remember such a book.

as we are told that there are no laws regarding cats and their control. please don t give me that bull about freedom to roam and cannot be controlled. an area with many cats can become a nightmare for people living in it. so i have this cat, we call him Jackie Chan, we found him out in the wild when he was four weeks old, we took him in. in the beginning he was an outdoor cat at our house. we got him fixed a little bit later on than we should have. he was constantly getting into fights and he always had a battle wound. he was always very loving whenever he saw me come outside, he wasnt so much about being picked up, but he loved to just lay on the porch and be pet, or lay on my lap and purr. well, i moved to an apartment, and now hes an indoor cat. he was very wild at first, getting into everything he shouldnt be. it seemed like he didnt want to be touched or messed with at alll. now he has calmed down a lot, and he's sweeter than ever. he follows me all over the apartment and always wants to be pet. he had a chance to run out the apartment door, and he didnt take it, he just sat there while the other cats ran right out. He is incredibly sweet now and obedient in fact. He was lying on my back the other day and i needed to roll over and i said " " Baby can you move over the other side of the bed? i have to roll over. " I didnt expect him to move i was just talking to him. but he moved, as soon as i said it. it was so cute. well my question is , why has his behavior changed so much? from wild to sweet to wild to sweet again? oh and one other thing. when he was misbehaving in my apartment, at first i reacted badly, then i started praising him when he was good and giving him lots of love, and his behavior majorly improved.
I can't stand my husband's favourite cat (cat is a racist). What should I do?
My husband and I have been given two cats to look after by my in laws for a while. One is white and the other one is black white. My husband's favourite cat is the white one. Whenever my husband and I are together, this cat comes along with the most annoying purring I have ever heard it's almost like a whinging and my husband reacts to it immediately by patting him and giving attention to him. When he is busy even at the computer , this cat comes and forcefully gets on his lap. When we are watching tv, he wants to be between us, otherwise he'd start whinging. I hate this cat so much. I wish it would stop this behaviour. I have asked my husband to ignore him when he's whinging like this because it encourages the behaviour. The cat is about 8 years old and has always been close to my husband before we got married. Also, I have tried numerous times to be nice to him, but all i get a disgusting look from this cat. He despises me, i know he does. Whenever i try to pat him, he moves away from me and clings onto my husband. I feel like this cat is a racist coz I'm not as white as my husband. Also, I feel like he's trying to break us up. He's trying to tell my husband to kick me out sort of thing. I hate this cat so much. What should I do? I have even told my husband I hate his cat but he tells me to give him a chance. I don't want to make an effort anymore. I have had it. I really feel like teaching a lessson to this cat by chasing him away whenever he comes around. I really feel like an evil witch here, but please see my point of view. what should i do?You people are obviously cat lovers I get along with the black white cat pretty well.
Cats, cats, cats everywhere?
I recently took in a couple of cats from my sister. Well it turns out that they are both pregnant and most likely they will have their litters within a day or two of each other. Neither one is even a year old, is it normal for them to be having kittens this young? Also im having to go out of town and i have no one to leave them with and i can't take them with me, and their babies are due anytime now. Its their first litter, will they know what to do when it comes time for them to have the babies and also will they fight each other or hurt the others kittens? I hate to leave them alone at such a critical time, but i have no other choice. Also as soon as its possible i am getting them both spayed.
"Ice Cream" for cats: if I froze the milk they make for cats--Cat Sip, would it hurt my baby?

I Have two cats, a boy and a girland my girl cat is in heat and i think she may already be pregnant, well now my cats don't want to be together, when i have them in teh same room my cat Gibby kind of mummbles a few meows and my other cat gets upset she doesn't even want him near her. is thi because he is in heat?i know male cat's don't go into heat, i meant she.
