Why are my cats like stalking me?!?!?!?
they never ever ever lay by me and usually run away from me.. but the past two days they have been constantly following me around the house and laying in bed with me. they have never done this.. ever in the past 5 years ive had them.. its crazy i tell you.lol no cat nip on my clothing and i havent been around other animals but my friend did have a baby the other day and i have been with her the past two days. maybe they smell the baby and they got jealous ? i never thought of that. thanks guys
Is it ok if i just feed my oto cats cucumber?

HE is 4 weeks old and has a bite wound in his neck i can see pus coming out of it but it is white and i dont think it is infected yet PLEASE DONT TELL ME TO GO TO THE EMERGENCY VET because i am going to wait until monday to go to the vet he is acting normal and i clean it with warm water every like 5 hours and i put Antibiotic medication on it 2 times a day I have to wait to go to the vet on monday please tell me if he will make it until then
There's a large lump in my cats neck?
My cat has a developed a large lump on the right side of his neck. Early today, this lump was not there. He is acting fine and we're planning on taking him to the vet ASAP, but I was wondering if someone had some insight on what it might be? Thanks
How to keep annoying stray cats off my front porch?
I detest cats and I'm allergic to them besides....how do I keep the stray cats off my front porch aside from letting the dog out or poisoning them?I'd prefer not to have to kill them so your answers are much appreciated.I have small children and I won't have feral cats hanging around the house.
Is my female cat taking care of a stray?
Currently we have 2 cats, a male and female. A couple days ago, we had a female kitten wander in and we decided to keep her. At first they were both aggressive towards her Hissing, biting, etc but now only the male cat does that. I've noticed that our female cat follows the kitten around, plays with her, and constantly licks her. Is the female cat taking care of the kitten? We had her fixed, but could she still be acting as a mother too it?

My wife and I adopted a cat from the shelter a few weeks ago. All the people at the shelter had to tell us was that he was surrendered because his owners " couldn't take care of him" so beyond that we know nothing about the cat's history, but we suspect he was abused.When we met with him in the meeting room he was very loving. He rubbed on us, cuddled in our laps, and was very loudly purring at every little touch.Now, almost a month later, he is very hateful and violent towards us. He gets along fine with our other cat and the two can often be found lounging in the windows together watching birds squirrels just outside their reach. When people come over he acts like he was acting towards us at the shelter but towards us... he doesn't purr, he doesn't sit with us, if we try to pet him he flips over onto his back and bites us and acts like he is going to claw us but seldom has his claws out when he does it. We are not allowed under any circumstance to pick him up however visitors to our home... he is the loving, friendly cat we met at the shelter.The only place in the house that is off limits to the cats is the table we have our reptiles cages on and this was the first sign, to me at least, that he was abused by his past owners. I told him no and went to move him from the table when he was exploring the house... and he flattened himself and looked like someone had just reached down and smacked him or like he thought that was going to happen. Since then it seems that any time my wife or I says no to him if he's clawing furniture or trying to get in our plates or something else that is how he reacts.My wife and I are both animal lovers. Our animals are our children and we would never dream of hurting any of them. Our other cat is very loving and cuddly and the way our new companion was acting in the shelter is why we picked him above the other hundred or so they had in the shelter and it breaks our hearts seeing him act loving towards anyone and everyone who comes in to our house that ISN'T us.But no we are not giving up on him.

Why is my cat so unclean?
I have a lovely 2 year old cat who is causing a bit of a problem He is a house cat who uses a litter tray. However he doesn't so much use it as destroy it His cat litter goes everywhere all over the floor along with any toilet that he has done I clean his tray everyday but he still ends up kicking the litter and his poo out onto the floor Worse still he gets his poo on his feet and instead of cleaning himself like other cats I have had in the past he walks straight onto my bed or couch and gets pooy footprint everywhere So I am cleaning my sheets daily along with disinfecting and cleaning my floors several times a day I have bought him a bigger tray and tried deep litter and shallow litter in an attempt to make things better but no luck.Does anyone have any ideas on how I can break this behaviour??Thanks for your helpOne very grossed out pet owner x x xHi Alex its a good idea but unfortunately because we live in the middle east he is not allowed to go outside because of the feral cats and the diseases he could get from them this is from our vet.Cats are also considered vermin in this country so no one would think twice about hurting him or running him over
